My sweet friend, Rachelle, had a sister coming through town very briefly who was in some desprite need of updated pictures. It had been something like 5 years since they'd attempted them, and so it was about time. Their kiddos were tired from traveling, but did a fantastic job.

I swear life has been crazy busy since October! The holidays are definitely upon us. But on the bright side, I got to photograph this beautiful little girl and enjoy some of the Christmas decor that's out and about as well. I'm all in the spirit of things now!

I love, love, love this family! It was such a blast spending the afternoon with them. This goes right up there as one of my all-time most favorite locations and shoots, too. There was so much to see, so many things to try. I was like a kid in a candy store. I loved all the textures and colors. What a great time!

This adorable family recently moved into the area, and they are so sweet. I absolutely fell in love with their little boy, too. He reminded me of my own baby boys. Blue eyes, peach fuzz and sweet cheeks.

We have really been blessed to finally be living closer to family. So, it was really exciting to be a part of capturing our sweet new little cousin's photographic debut.

My hubby's cousin, Kim, and her husband, Nate, were able to welcome a baby boy to their family, making three adorable children. After a crazy couple of weeks after his birth, he was home and we were able to steal a little time to catch his cuteness.

Backtracking to Bear

This summer I have been HORRRRRIBLE at blogging, emailing or doing pretty much anything that I would like to for myself. Activies director has taken first chair. But, here are some pics I took of my "baby bear" when he was about nine months old.

He was not feelin' it that morning, and I think he didn't like the feeling of the grass, but once my hubby started playing "bungie jumper" with him he started grinning. There's nothing like a good backward heave out of daddy's arms.

With the end of the school year upon me, I managed to get waaaay behind in my posts, but I was able to take pictures of my friend and her adorable family before the Vegas weather decided to really go "summer" on me. It really was as cool(ish) and green as it looked, and her daughters were just gorgeous. They are such a wonderful family.

Can you say, "SOOOOO in love"? That's what I kept thinking while photographing this sweet couple on their wedding day. They wanted a few momento pictures to capture their joy on the big day along with some of their closest family. Little did they know that the groom's brother and his wife would come all the way from Germany to surprise them right as we were able to start taking pictures! It was such a tender reunion and a beautiful day. I was honored to be a part of it.

Strike a Soccer Pose

A friend of mine really wanted to have soccer pictures done for her daughter, but the league apparently didn't provide a photographer for it. The coach didn't feel that with the economy many of the other team member's families would be interested in hiring anyone either. So, I told her that I would give it a whirl and we'd document her little sportswoman's stuff. (the names have been changed to protect the innocent he he) Isn't she just too adorable, though! I have to say that the action shot in the card is my favorite.

Admittedly, spring in the desert doesn't always seem the most "springy", but green grass, the occasional bloom and moderate temperatures are something. (I'll take whatever I can get!) This cutie family wanted to get into the spirit with some spring pics for Easter.

Baby Boy Curls

This energetic cutie pie's mamma wanted to document his sweet curls before daddy put his foot down and brought out the clippers.

There just isn't anything quite like baby curls. I remember the same feelings when it was time to cut my boys' hair at about that age. They seem so much more grown up after they get the "big boy" haircut.

I'm just glad I was able to capture him in his toddler best, full of spunk (along with Teddy)...with a head full of curls.

A Class of His Own

It's getting to be that magical time again when the next class of seniors gear up for graduation and the world awaiting them. This handsome young man will be giving those co-eds something to look at when he gets to college. On top of that, he is super sweet and sings, too! Watch out, ladies!

Here is my sweet little baby bear. There's nothing I love more than seeing those chunky rolls al natural he he (with just a little coverage - which I'm sure he'll thank me for someday). He's such a smiler, too, which I adore. Simple with just white, these can't help but make you smile right along with him.

This is me catching up after a bit of a hiatus with all the holidays and chilly weather. As a family, we did manage to "suit up" and get some pics taken before-hand, but I've been a sloth and not gotten them up until today. :S

Anyhoo, here are my cuties and my sweet hubby. I even got him to take a snap of me and the baby! Being behind the camera most of the time, I've come to realize that there is little to no evidence of me and I did want to prove that I existed. He did a great job, right! I love it. I love my boys.

Speaking as a mother of boys, it was SO FUN to have the girly element when I photographed my friend, Leah's family. Her two little girls are so beautiful that pouty faces were adorable! He baby boy was such a sweetpie even though he was having a hard time keeping his lunch down, poor guy. The are such a sweet family!

This was part of a project that this cutie pie's momma was planning for the holidays. I felt very honored to be able to provide the pictures for it. He was THE BEST little model and so patient as we switched out the props time and again. He was like a little pro puttin' on the smiles. He's going to be running from the ladies in the near future.

I'm happy to report that I am no longer pregnant! And our sweet little boy is finally with us to cuddle. We are absolutely loving him. And now that I have finally been feeling up to it, I went ahead and captured some precious shots of our little, big man. I just can't get enough of this sweetie pie.

This is my absolutely gorgeous niece. While she was in town, we managed to make time to take some senior photos of her. She is so photogenic, right?! I think having your aunt take pictures of you with your mother standing right there can be a little intimidating (we had her giggling a lot), but it was a lot of fun. I wouldn't be surprised to see her on a magazine ad someday.

Boy, if this didn't make me more baby hungry I don't know what could! I can hardly wait for my own little guy to get here. Here is sweet, new baby L in all her sweetness. It's amazing how quickly we forget just how tiny they start out. I guess mine even more so - they were already a bit rolly at birth and then got to be even bigger butterballs after that! But still, it was such a special thing to see when this little girl was happy in her mommy's arms. What a little miracle each life is! Here are just a few of my favorites.

Gabby was all about the girly girl thang! The clothing changes, the accessories, and most importantly...the SHOES! Her last outfit sported these amazing purple giraffe print shoes, so we just had to give some love to the shoes. During our photo shoot walkabout, she also spotted some gorgeous bright, yellow roses, which are apparently her favorite! So, we just had to incorporate those in as well. She is such a beautiful girl. Here's to a bright future!

There just isn't anything in the world quite like the laugh of a child. I think the B children were probably laughing at me quite a bit as I worked with them. Especially little "L". Well, after moving house and having half our household starting up school again, I've been away from my photography for awhile, but here are some beautiful photos I was able to take of three gorgeous children. Natural beauty at its best!
