Golden Anniversary

This amazing couple are my parents-in-law, and they just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  I just love them! They are golden people. Only fitting that they could celebrate their golden anniversary. What an amazing event!

Out of School and On a Mission

This young man will be graduating high school in a month and then going right out to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be learning to speak Spanish so that he can teach the people of Mexico about the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is super excited, and it shows! So many exciting things will be happening for him and his family in the next few months. I was so glad that I was able to get a taste of their joy. What a neat young man, and what a fun sense of humor!

Spring Senior

It's already time for graduation!!! I can't believe how quickly the school year has been flying by! I was also fortunate enough to photograph this beautiful young woman. Her mom was able to tag along for the shoot and admire her "baby". Thank goodness for photographs to remind us of where we've been and help us dream of where we're going.

Bond. James Bond.

I had such a great time photographing my friend's senior son. In the ROTC and the very day of his senior prom, we had the opportunity of using his uniform as well as his tux, which was a lot of fun. He admitted that while sporting his tux, he did in fact feel a bit like James Bond. During some of our shots overlooking the water, he had visions of diving from the balcony into the chilly waters only to meet up with a submarine passing by within the depths below. He he. I love it! I think he totally looked the part.

Revved Up Prom

It's been that time of year again when you spot limos and teens in fancy duds around town. Prom time. My husband's cousin and her boyfriend wanted to take some photos with what I call a "Cruella DeVille car" with their prom gear on. A neighbor owned this car and was willing to let us play around with it a bit. It was very fun. We also took a few extra shots for senior pics. I love seniors!

A Class of His Own

It's getting to be that magical time again when the next class of seniors gear up for graduation and the world awaiting them. This handsome young man will be giving those co-eds something to look at when he gets to college. On top of that, he is super sweet and sings, too! Watch out, ladies!
